So the story's got 8 main characters. Maybe a couple more join later on, but it's primarily these eight that the world revolves around. These people have a gift- something akin to what the Dark Person told April in TLJ- the power to create ripples in space. Living Wave Existences. As such, they are naturally drawn to each other whenever they meet. And shit happens.
