So despite the usual randomness of my dreams, I've kinda accepted that dreams are probably just the result of your brain trying to process/sort your memories... or something like that. This was particularly evident in the series of dreams I had two nights ago, as I realized when I woke up that all of the things that I saw in my dream had come up in my conversations with people during the day. Unfortunately, I don't remember what happened in that dream anymore.
On a side note, lately my dreams have started to involve people from IV, which is kinda interesting because back during Chapter Camp I was wondering my no one from IV ever turned up in my dreams... except for that one dream where I got involved in a war that erupted in Tim's apartment. Something involving superheroes and shooting bubbles from my hands... Uhh my memory of that might be a bit off.
But yeah, so last night I dreamt we were having large group at an expensive Chinese restaurant (APA reference?) and I wound up sitting next to my CS150 TA. And then he surprised me by turning into the speaker for the night, only to get pulled off the stage a couple of minutes into his talk because he misreferenced something from Romans. Some random supervising person came up after him and told us to start eating food, but I somehow remembered that I was still full from eating yesterday and decided to take all of the food to go. This included an entire box of sauteed shrimp, an entire box of beef and tofu, and an entire box of some other dish that I forgot. And it looked soooo goood.... and then I woke up.
I really want Chinese food right now. It's almost 7 in the morning. :(
On second thought, I'm kinda glad nothing from yesterday turned up in my dream... Hung out with James and Mark at their new apartment yesterday, which of course entailed talking about eye damage followed by playing a horror game in which your character slowly gets more insane the longer you play, causing hallucinations and random voices to come out of nowhere and the camera angle to get all jittery. I am never going to touch another horror game again. Or at least not Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.
That is probably going to come back and bite me later.
